Context & Work
I worked with Drop Access, a Kenyan innovation company, to research and write a grant proposal for the Zayed Sustainability Prize. The proposal focused on the pilot production of their Kenyan-made mobile, solar-powered vaccination cold storage system, the VacciBox. My role was to translate the technical and operational aspects of this healthcare solution into a compelling narrative that positioned it as a scalable, impactful innovation for global health.
Conclusion
Through this work, the VacciBox gained visibility as a Kenyan-made innovation addressing critical gaps in vaccine delivery, and the experience strengthened my expertise in developing strategic, fundable proposals for technical and healthcare-driven solutions.
