Context
Power For The People, the foundation arm of DREAM EP Global
Energy, focuses on empowering women on Remba Island through sustainable
livelihood initiatives that address food security and economic participation.
The work required connecting research, design, education, and storytelling into
a cohesive framework that could be implemented locally while also resonating
with wider audiences and donors.
The Work
Project Design
I contributed to research and design proposals addressing food security and women’s empowerment, supporting project management, tracking, and monitoring to ensure alignment with project goals. In parallel, I developed training curricula aimed at equipping women with basic computer skills, marketing knowledge, and entrepreneurial competencies, providing them with practical tools to manage and grow income-generating initiatives.
Media Designer
To capture and communicate impact, I produced photography and videography outputs documenting project implementation. Some of this work was featured by platforms such as the UEFA Foundation, amplifying visibility for the projects beyond the local context.
Conclusion
Through this work, I ensured that
research, programme design, and visual storytelling worked in tandem,
translating complex interventions into meaningful, engaging, and actionable
narratives for both participants and external stakeholders.
